Nautical but Nice! Beach Theme

Posted by on Feb 16, 2014

There is something about beachy themes and nautical home decor, it could have something to do with the warm, weather-worn look that adds such colour and cheeriness. Fond memories of family days building sand castles on the beach, fishing off the jetty or just lazing around in the shade checking out all the activity going on around you. You can decorate your home or part of your home with beach decor easily and it doesn’t matter whether your home is located by the sea, in the hills or in the country. You could start your beach theme by gathering stones, shells or even drift wood next time you’re down at the beach. Make a simple arrangement in a dish, bowl or vase and place it on your bathroom vanity, perhaps a mirror with shell on the border. You will soon get the bug for more. Take a look at the beach and note the colours around you, there’s sandy beige, greys and blues of the ocean and white wave tips then the yellowy-green of the beach grasses. Our Outdoor Chill-out area

Posted by on Mar 12, 2014

We thought we should post this article because we feel that it will help people get to know what we are all about at Mayyada Bazaar. In September 2012, whilst busy in the process of expanding our store to the down stairs section, the team were brainstorming ideas to utilise all the covered space we had outside the main building.  We knew that there was more than enough room for our large selection of outdoor water features, Greenstone statues and various outdoor ornaments. Demand for Quality Furniture Increases

Posted by on Jan 10, 2014

Demand for imported furniture in Australia has been rising significantly with consumers getting more conscious about quality and creating an aesthetically pleasing ambience in their homes. The shift in can be gauged by the fact that Queensland is home to more than forty furniture stores dealing in imported products. “Various factors including availability of numerous designs and superior finishing has helped in raising demand for our imported furniture,” said Leanne, owner of Mayyada Bazaar, a home furnshings, and gift store based on Bribie Island, Queensland. Apart from the shift in design and quality, competitive prices have played a crucial role in increasing sales of our furniture, Leanne added. At Mayyada Bazaar we stock a wide variety of solid wood furniture because people have grown tired of the MDF or chipboard veneered furniture, they can see that there is no lasting value in it.  It’s all well and good that mdf and the like may be a little less expensive but it just doesn’t last anywhere near as long as good traditional solid wood furniture.  People are prepared to spend that little extra to get...
